Social media algorithms can be a tricky thing.

DAY 13

Action Steps- Connect With Five!

Social media algorithms can be a tricky thing. Did you know you have access to 2500 posts per day on social media, but the algorithms show you only about 300 per day? They show you posts based on what they think you want to see and this is all due to what you stop on, interact with and what you scroll past.

You can be intentional with your time on social media by liking and commenting on posts when you’re scrolling through but there’s even more you can do to help your posts be seen.

Action Steps- Connect With Five

1. Like and comment on 5 people’s posts per day. Every day, spend a few minutes to go to your friend’s list and interact with friends that may be removed from what you see in your timeline because of algorithms.

2. Be intentional when you’re scrolling and be sure to like and comment when you can. Every time you like or comment on someone’s post, Facebook notes it and will be sure they see your posts within 24 hours. The more you like and comment on other people’s posts, the more they will see of yours!

3. Check the “Birthdays” section on Facebook and be sure to comment or message everyone on this list. As you do this, those you wished Happy Birthday, will see more of your posts and will be more likely to interact with yours. It’s all about building the connections and relationships!
